Terms & Conditions

Panorama Club is the frequent flyer program of Ukraine International Airlines (hereinafter “UIA”). Participation in the program is subject to the Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”) governing the Panorama Club program (hereinafter the “Program”).

 

1. GENERAL

1.1 Each person applying for the membership in the Program is considered to have accepted and agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions.

1.2 UIA reserves the right to modify (in whole or in part) or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. Modifications may concern rules of the Program, membership conditions, amount of miles required for certain destinations, the period of validity of miles, etc.

2. PANORAMA CLUB MEMBERSHIP

2.1. Membership in the Program can be obtained by completing an Application Form (attached to the Panorama Club brochure or electronically on the Internet).

2.2. Membership in the Program is open for individuals aged 2 and over at the date of application.

2.3. Individual Membership is permitted. Only one Membership is allowed per person. Organizations, corporations and other entities cannot be enrolled as a Member.

2.4. Panorama Club Membership is free of charge.

2.5. UIA reserves the right to refuse Membership to any applicant who is not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

2.6. Membership termination may occur:

- if a Member fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions

- upon the wish of a Member at any time by written notice

- upon the termination of the Program

2.7. Upon Membership termination, all accumulated miles will be cancelled.

3. PANORAMA CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD

3.1 Member should keep his/her temporary Membership card until he/she is eligible for a permanent Membership card. A permanent card is issued and presented to a Member upon accrual of 3 000 Club miles.

3.2 Panorama Club Membership cards are personal, not transferable and valid for use only when signed by a Member.

3.3 Panorama Club Membership cards remain the property of UIA and should be returned after Membership termination.

3.4 Membership cards cannot be used after the date of expiry and/or after termination of Membership in Panorama Club.

3.5 Lost, stolen or damaged Membership cards can be replaced upon a Member’s notification.

4. PANORAMA CLUB MILES

4.1 The mile is the basic unit of calculation in the Program.

4.2 The number of miles for each route is calculated in accordance with current IATA standards. UIA reserves the right to define the number of miles to be credited for each Program partner and for each service provided. Miles are credited according to the fare paid and the class of booking made.

4.3 Each Member will have a personal account to register the collected miles in the Program. Neither miles nor the account are transferable, and they cannot be combined with an account or miles of any other person. Miles cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.4 When a Panorama Club Member subscribes to a Partner’s loyalty program, miles for the same flight or provided service cannot be credited to both programs.

4.5 Miles are credited to the Member’s account only for a fully paid scheduled flight by UIA or partner airlines or using services provided by other Panorama Club Partners. UIA reserves the right, without prior notice, to fully or partially exclude certain fare, certain flights or categories of flights from the Program. No miles will be credited for awards or benefit travel or other award or benefit services, for services at discounted or certain special tariffs and for charter flights.

4.6 Miles are not credited for unused, lost or refunded tickets.

4.7 Miles will automatically be credited to a Member’s account if the Member mentions his/her Membership number whenever he/she books a flight and upon presenting his/her Membership card at check-in desk before departure.

4.8 Miles for UIA flights will be credited within 2 weeks; miles accrued on Airline Partners’ flights will be credited within 4 weeks following the flight concerned. Miles accrued on other Partners services will be credited quarterly.

4.9 Panorama Club reserves the right to debit the account of any Member who has acquired miles unduly.

4.10 If, for any reason, miles are not credited for a flight taken or service used, they can be retroactively credited to a Member’s account within 6 months. To claim the miles the Member should submit the following documents: original boarding passes and/or passenger tickets, or original invoice for a partner services.

4.11 An appointed number of miles may be purchased and considered as Bonus miles; amount and frequency of miles purchase are limited. Money used for miles purchasing are non-refundable.

5. AWARDS AND BENEFITS

5.1 As soon as a Member’s account has reached the mileage level required for a certain award, it can be ordered for scheduled flights operated by UIA or its Partners.

5.2. Panorama Club reserves the right to change the conditions regarding the number of miles required to obtain an award and to cancel award offers.

5.3. To order a free ticket Member should provide the Panorama Club manager or a UIA Representative with details of the trip (name, membership number, route, dates of travel, class, contacts, etc.) at least 5 workdays before the date of travel.

5.4. Upgrades are available on scheduled fully paid flights operated by UIA; certain tariffs, booking classes and group bookings may be excluded from upgrades. In the case of upgrades, miles are credited for the fare originally booked and paid.
Please be sure that you order an UPGRADE at least 5 working days before the date of travel.

5.5. Open-dated tickets are not allowed.

5.6. All award tickets are subject to seat availability. The number of seats for award tickets is limited even on flights, which are not fully booked. Some restrictions for awards may appear depending on date, season and destination and under certain circumstances awards may not be available. Panorama Club team is not liable for the absence of seats for award tickets or for upgrade to business class on UIA or its partners` flights. Therefore, Members should provide alternate travel dates when ordering an award.

5.7. Collected miles cannot be combined with cash or other form of payment to get an award.

5.8. Panorama Club award tickets are valid for one year starting from the date of issuance.

5.9. Award booking can only be made and award tickets may only be collected either at UIA’s Head Office or at a UIA Representative office in Ukraine or abroad.

5.10. Reservation of an award may be cancelled or changed to another flight up to 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure. After that, the ticket is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and the Member’s entitlement to the award is forfeited if unused by the Member.

5.11. Ordinary bookings may not be changed into award bookings. UIA may refuse an award if the Member has already made a reservation for a flight without clearly specifying that such reservation is for Panorama Club award.

5.12. After the award ticket has been issued one change of the date can be made according to the following rule:

a) When travelling in Economy Class – with penalty USD 40;

b) When travelling in Business Class – without penalty.

5.13. In the case of a lost, stolen, damaged or incompletely used award tickets, they cannot be replaced.

5.14. Members will be responsible for payment of any government or airport taxes applicable at the time of issuance.

6. AWARDS TRANSFERABILITY.

A Member may transfer awards, but not issued tickets, to any person of his/her choice. To transfer awards to family members or friends, the Member should mail or fax a letter authorizing the transfer to the Panorama Club manager. The Member’s name, account number, the name of the person receiving the award, route, dates of travel, service grade (business or economy) and contacts should be included in the letter.

All rules and regulations outlined here also apply to the person to whom the award is transferred; it is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that the person receiving the transferred award is aware of the flight restrictions, taxes payable and the others rules and regulations. UIA is not responsible for fraud or for any other misuse of a ticket or award.

7. MISCELLANEOUS

UIA will not be liable for any claim, loss or damage resulting from any delayed, cancelled or rerouted flights. Please read the flight ticket about the limitations of UIA’s liability (which are applicable to Panorama Club as well) for injury, loss or damage to person or property.

In the case of any changes of a Member’s personal data he/she must provide the Panorama Club manager with all updated information.

Membership and awards are not transferable in the event of member’s death.

The Program is subject to Ukrainian law. All disputes shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kiev, Ukraine.
